Waterfront gig

LOVELY lovely lovely gig at the Esplanade Waterfront today!

Thanks, dear OOPs and RSYs (plus Sumi!), for such a lovely performance tonight-- both our second sets, in particular.

You can't believe how huge a load is lifted off my spirits even as we bounced and sang and delivered a decidedly convincing set.

It's like a sunny day after months of rain, this sudden luxurious douse of hope, after being only barely convinced of possibilities for such a long long time-- with a fair stretch of bleakness and mixed feelings thrown in, then.

Now I feel like singing and performing proper, again. How rare it is to feel like you own the stage, to swing a song and to feel the high without the tension and stress and wrongness dragging you down, to feel your group-mates take the stage and enjoy themselves right beside you.

Oh, dazzling sunshine, in this properest redemption of all. Thank you, thank you, people, for tonight =)

There is hope for the new year yet *smiles*
